Dr. Simeone discussed how every year, a radical design seems to evolve, not just from the search for beauty, but because certain factors of performance dictate the design. Several leading examples from 1909 through 1974 were discussed: 1909 American Underslung Traveler, 1956 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, 1970 Plymouth Superbird and a guest appreance by a 1974 Mercedes Benz Unimog took part in the Demo Day.
