The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum hosted a very special lecture and driving demonstration featuring the 1948 Tucker 48, #1044. The lecture featured Preston Tucker’s grandsons, Mike and Sean, who spoke about both the car, its history, and their grandfather. Also on hand were the cars past and present owners, Mark Lieberman and Howard Kroplick who spoke about the life and legacy of Preston Tucker. Rob Ida, who was behind the immaculate restoration of #1044 also spoke of its restoration story. Special thanks also go out to John Tucker Jr, and Russ Montebello. The Lecture concluded with Q and A session followed by a very rare driving demonstration of the 1948 Tucker 48, #1044.
