Learn about automotive technology by creating your own race car

Our hands-on S.T.E.A.M. camp revs up with exciting projects plus a behind-the-ropes study of the coolest cars on the planet all summer long. Have your kids experience a once-in-a-lifetime journey featuring the automobiles from our world-famous collection.

A unique learning adventure

S.T.E.A.M. is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Many people are more familiar with S.T.E.M. but here at the Simeone Museum, we have art as well!

Day Campers will cover all five topics as we explore our collection while they complete five projects to hone their creative, technical and scientific skills.

Activities include daily instruction, in addition to an up-close look at relevant cars in the collection as well as a hands-on activity relating to the day’s topic. Projects range include building their own CO2 dragster, programming autonomous cars, egg drop physics experiments, and more. Additionally, all campers will see and experience our world-famous collection up close. Above all, each camper will have fun-filled experiences, while meeting new friends and discovering the “Spirit of Competition”.
