We took our 1956 Maserati 300S and 1953 Jaguar C-Type for a night drive to celebrate the 88th 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Harry John Lawson was a British entrepreneur who sought to create an early monopoly on petrol-driven cars through the acquisition of multiple patents. His end goal never included vehicle production, rather he aimed to exploit the patents he purchased by charging royalties to manufacturers that produced vehicles from the patents he owned.
Join us here at 9:00am on August 1 for the premiere of the Simeone Museum Virtual Volunteer Vehicle Show. This virtual program will feature cars, trucks, bikes, and all the other things with wheels that keep our volunteers busy when they are away from the museum.
